Great Parking Options for (Ilikai) Guests
The Ilikai back foyer has a ramp that drops you right on the lagoon on the ocean side. You can park free on the left side during the day for up to 6 hours. These spaces always fill up with surfers during the day but open up throughout the day. There is no parking after 10:30pm in the free parking area. All cars are towed right at 10:30pm sharp so don't forget your car there.
Directly across from the free parking spaces there are numbered paid parking stalls that you can use for $1 an hour. Park in any stall and purchase your ticket from the machine at the entrance to the lot by can choose any amount of hours you want. You can choose any amount of hours you want for your stall. The machines take cash and credit cards.
Valet parking is available 24/7 and is $45 a day with in/out privileges, of course you must tip for each time. Please check the rate on arrival. No reservations needed. Just arrive anytime and valet staff is on duty.
The bell captain or valets can assist you with your bags and deliver them to your room when you arrive or when you leave. Tip is usually $1-$2 per bag.
If you wish to rent an underground parking stall on a monthly basis, the rate is $250 a month, minimum stay of 2 months (based on availability) to qualify plus a $25 non refundable activation fee. Make sure upon arrival you ask valet about this. Sometimes the hotel will not offer long-term parking so best to call the hotel directly if you need this.
Across the street on the west side on Hobron Lane is Red Lobster. There is a parking garage located there that offers parking for $28 per day. Please check rates upon arrival.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - My sister, niece and myself had a fantastic 2 week stay in this apartment for our girls trip away. We found the unit very spacious, clean and exactly how it was pictured. Plenty of cupboard and drawer space for us to unpack for the time we were there. The kitchen was a great size and had everything we needed when we cooked a couple of meals during our time there. The views of the sunsets each day and the marina were fantastic from the balcony. Would highly recommend this unit to all of our family and friends and we hope to be able to visit again sometime in the very near future.

(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - My family of 4 stayed in Condo #1506 in August 2022, and we loved everything about it! From the moment we entered the Ilikai to the moment we left, we cannot say enough positive things about it! The condo itself is exactly as described on the website. Everything was new, and clean and we had everything we needed for the few meals we cooked. While I prefer a washer and dryer in the unit, it wasn't terrible to walk down to the laundry room. The location of the Ilikai was perfect. The fact that parking was only $1/hr was a deal MAKER for us! Cinnamon's in the back was excellent. Aroma cafe was our go-to every morning! And last but not least, every time we walked into the lobby, DAVE'S ICE CREAM called our names. So we topped off our nights with Ice cream while sitting out back on the huge outdoor lanai! LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ilikai and condo #1506! NOTE: Washers & Dryers are NOT allowed in any condos. There is a laundry room near the elevators for your laundry needs.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - We intend to stay here again and again. Sadly we had to leave this home-from-home unit a couple of days earlier than planned due to airline schedule changes - BUT, our stay was every bit as good as we remembered from, 4years ago . Our original booking had to be changed a number of times due to Covid 19, but every change was treated with care by the owner and agent and we are very grateful. The unit itself has everything you need, a well equipped kitchen far better than other places we have stayed. Comfortable seating etc in the living area great TV and fast internet. The large robe and drawer space means everything can be unpacked, put away and life is soon normal and you are ready to go!!. Bathroom is spacious and well appointed. The balcony outlook is magnificent and we spent many hours each day sitting out there watching the ever changing view over the yacht harbour, surf beach etc. The pool area at Ilikai is very pleasant and well run. Love the early evening lamp lighting and the Conche Man!! Everything is on hand, bus stop right outside: a 7 minute walk to Ala Moana shopping mall, or use the Waikiki Trolley for $5. a day: Eating places to suit every palate close by etc. We can thoroughly recommend unit 1506. (Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - Fantastic! This is the view and unit you want - the surf, marina, sunsets, and the courtyard below. The unit was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Walking distance to countless amenities: Ala Moana shopping centre, grassed park surrounding ocean lagoon for family swimming, immediate access to the stores and restaurants of Waikiki either by sidewalk or beach walk, surfing, boogie boarding, or playing in the surf is just out the "backdoor". We will definitely book #1506 for our next trip to Oahu.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - We recently spent a month in this unit and found it exactly as the pictures and descriptions indicated. The unit was very homey and it is evident the owners take great pride in the condition of their rental. We did have one hiccup with the phone, however this was fixed very quickly. We were not aware that there is no onsite management so all questions/concerns must be done online, any questions were quickly answered and acted on. One suggestion would be to have a list of what is included in the kitchen so the inventory could be kept current, given we were staying a month we did have to to purchase a few basic items. The air conditioning was extremely quiet and the curtains kept out the heat of the afternoon perfectly. The Ilikai is a nice well kept building, the pool area is very nice and well managed. The location is very close to the bus, shopping malls, and great places which are close to walk to and also close to Waikiki Beach etc.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - Beautiful condo. It has been recently renovated so everything was clean and new. Easy to enter and leave with no issues whatsoever. We stayed with our 13 and 16 year old children. The view was of the marina and easy walk to see the fireworks on Friday night. Easy walk to Ala Moana shopping and about a 10 minute walk to the main Waikiki which we did daily. There is a pink trolley line right out the front but we did not even use it. I found Charley's taxi reliable and good price. I loved Dave's icecream down in the lobby. Tuesday half price!!
(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - A very nicely refurbished, comfortable condo. The owners had obviously put a lot of thought into the best refurbishment configuration. Plenty of hanging and drawer space for clothes. Great kitchen with new, high quality major appliances. Fantastic view encompassing the Marina and the constantly changing scene of the surfers and the boats at sea. We loved our 13 night stay in this special apartment and would definitely seek it out for our next trip to Honolulu.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - We recently spend 10 days here and had a wonderful time. Our room was clean & comfortable and was exactly as pictured. It was well fitted out with plenty of crockery, cutlery & glasses. Our room had a kettle which was a bonus! The air conditioner worked well and was quiet. There was plenty of storage space with two large wardrobes/cupboards, two sets of drawers and plenty of cupboard space in the bathroom. This meant we were able to unpack and not live out of our suitcases. We made use of the beach chairs available. The large tv was appreciated by my husband in the evenings. The view over the harbour and out to sea from our balcony/lanai was lovely. We enjoyed coffee from Aromas cafe downstairs each day and the complex is well situated only 15 mins walk from Waikiki main shopping/dining strip. Loved our stay at Ilikai and would happily stay here again.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - Excellent expansive view of the ocean and harbor and very clean and modern unit. Loved that I could book and feel confident the dates where actually available. Tried VRBO and multiple times after submitted request was told those date options where not available though listed as if they were. Enjoy the code access so you don't have to worry about carrying around or losing a key card. I enjoyed the unit so much that I booked it again!
(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - This condo is amazing!! It is recently remodeled so all the furnishings are new and the beds are very comfortable. There is ample storage space both in the bath and living area. The kitchen has all the appliances you will need. We really enjoyed relaxing on the lanai and taking in the view of the harbor. The location is key. You are within walking distance to the beach and if you want to take a Trolley, it stops right in front of the hotel. We look forward to coming back to Waikiki.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - We stay two months at the Ilikai each year and unit 1506 is our favorite. The beds were great and it had adequate kitchen necessities. The best thing about this unit is the spectacular view.

(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - The apartment is exactly as portrayed in the promo photos, no disappointments at all. It is comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen appliances are exceptional, large, easy to use and efficient. The decor throughout is good. The view, especially as the sun sets, is magnificent. We spent a lot of time on the lanai. Using an access code instead of a key card to enter is so much better and our first experience of this method. We would certainly recommend and stay here again if possible. I have no negative points at all.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - Our stay in 1506 was amazing!! The view of the Ala Wai boat harbor and ocean is spectacular. The furniture is new, and the beds are very comfortable. The decorator did a great job, which includes tiles on the Lanai. The kitchen has new appliances, great air conditioning, wall to wall drapes, and a spacious bathroom with an extra cabinet for storage. The built-in dresser near the closet was an extra. We loved this unit and did not want to leave! We keep thinking about the coffee in the morning and cocktail hour on the Lanai. We will definitely return. Our visit was total relaxation.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - Unit 1506 has a great water view with all new furnishings - nicely decorated and airconditioned. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. Their are plenty of nearby places to eat. You have easy access to Waikiki Beach. It is a short walk to the Ala Moana Shopping Center for shopping and food. The shopping center has a food court that is reasonably priced. This unit is all about location, location, location, with a great view. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1506 - We enjoyed our stay in 1506...the condo is as advertised...completely updated... First of all you can't beat the view...the kitchen has all brand new appliances... The bathroom is new and spacious...extra built in cabinets for all your storage needs.... Lots of room in the closets...air conditioning .......black out drapes are wall to wall.. We would definitely stay here again.
